This album was self recorded and mixed. I put together a makeshift recording studio. I was eight months pregnant. I thought of it as a smoke signal, a beacon launched, before diving into Motherhood.

I did each of these tracks in one take, and then layered harmonies and rhythm on some of them. I added a bit of reverb, and played with the sound of my instruments on a couple tracks. This is non-pitch corrected/non-autotuned music.
